Our kick-off is designed to help entrepreneurs.


Being an entrepreneur has never been an easy path. Responsible for everything from new ideas and knowing what your customers want to building a team and monitoring cash flow, most entrepreneurs wear many hats through days packed with meetings, calls, and projects. And that’s A-okay for most entrepreneurs – in fact, they like it. But the last two years have had some new challenges.


Jump back to March 2020 and business owners were handed a whole new world. Some businesses thrived, while some folded completely. The ones that thrived did it through new ideas, innovation, and a lot of grit. While COVID itself has become part of our everyday life, the changes from COVID are still unfolding. Add to that the Great Resignation where business leaders and employees alike are looking at their lives to figure out if they need to make a change, and we know that entrepreneurs would benefit from some support and future-focused ideas.


That’s why we are launching our Conversations with Smart People series with two of our favorite colleagues, Ladd Hirsch and Keith Walters. Ladd has over 35 years experience as a business trial lawyer and will bring his unique approach to business partnerships to the discussion. He challenges his clients and audiences to figure out if the business partnership and structure are still serving them and the business well. Keith has an impressive history with building teams and culture to create extraordinary results, and he coaches business owners (including yours truly) to make sure the right people are in the right seats so your company values can thrive and your company vision can spring to life.
