A Call to Action Disguised as an Award

July 31, 2019

We are so very proud to announce that we are one of the finalists for D CEO's 2019 Nonprofit and Corporate Citizenship Awards, which will be awarded this Thursday.

We are being recognized for Corporate Leadership Excellence, alongside Bank of America, CBRE and Cristo Rey Dallas, and Fiserv.

Our family is fortunate and proud to have been a part of our city’s explosive growth over the past forty years.  We admire the people of Dallas, appreciate the high energy and successful business climate, and humbly serve the nonprofit community.  The prestigious D CEO awards are a gathering of like-minded people and companies who know that the success of our community is dependent upon the efforts of every citizen.  We must help our fellow neighbors, whether they are friends and family, people we work with, or strangers in need.  We believe that businesses have both an opportunity and obligation to serve the community that affords them prosperity, and can set an example by being good corporate citizens.  We appreciate D CEO for celebrating businesses and nonprofits who recognize that “to whom much is given, much is expected.”

One of our favorite events each year is our Family Service Day, where we volunteer at North Texas Food Bank.  This year we will serve on August 24, 9:00 - 11:30, at the Perot Family Campus in Plano.  To join us, you (and your friends and family) can sign up here.

The D CEO Nonprofit and Corporate Citizenship Awards recipients are chosen by the editors of D CEO Magazine. Selection is based on professionals and organizations in the nonprofit world that make a positive impact on the community as well as corporations that support local nonprofits through executives volunteering their time on boards to lending support through financial donations, in-kind services, and sponsorships. Third-party rankings and recognitions are not a guarantee of future investment success and do not ensure that a client or prospective client will experience a higher level of performance or results. These ratings should not be construed as an endorsement of the advisor by any client nor are they representative of any one client’s evaluation.
